Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of performing for audiences of thousands in auditoriums and large-scale events, including delivering the national anthem at collegiate ceremonies. My performance experience spans across genres and languages—having sung in Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, Latin, and German—and I’ve taken the stage in several local musical theatre productions, including Rodgers and Hammerstein’s _Cinderella_. As a vocal coach, I draw on years of live performance, worship leadership, and songwriting to help each student discover their unique voice, build confidence, and cultivate authentic expression. Whether leading a congregation, writing a new song, or guiding a student in the studio, my mission remains the same: to use the power of music to move hearts, tell stories, and inspire connection.
As a full-time professional singer and vocalist, I bring years of stage and studio experience to every coaching session. A graduate of the Cincinnati School for Creative and Performing Arts with a major in Vocal Music, I’ve built a thriving career performing across multiple genres and platforms. I specialize in R&B, Pop, Dance, Studio, and other modern vocal styles. My coaching is perfect for singers preparing for auditions, live performance work, or looking to refine their sound and stage presence to a professional level. Whether you’re pursuing your first gig or building a lasting career, I’ll help you develop the technique, confidence, and artistry to stand out.
I am a classically trained singer with 36 years of professional singing experience. Noteworthy experiences include participation in the All-State Chorus and the Governor’s Honors Program in Georgia; being an alumnus of The Grammy Choir (1995); and three performances at Carnegie Hall in New York City under the direction of Thomas Yackley, as of June 2024. In recent years, my focus has shifted toward local performances and songwriting. I am currently producing an album of original music and enjoying the continual enrichment that music brings. I look forward to helping you discover and develop your own voice as an artist.
For over 25 years, Judy Bechar has been performing and coaching singers around the world. She’s an international vocalist, songwriter, and artist developer who has performed in Paris, Vienna, Las Vegas, London, New York, and Tel Aviv, singing in six languages — English, Spanish, Italian, French, Hebrew, and Russian.
